Tegenungan waterfall Located at Tegenungan Village, approx. 5 kilometres, south Tengkulak Kaja, south east Ubud. Bali has a selection of waterfalls that are fun to visit. For many people the idea of hiking through the jungle to a hidden waterfall and taking a cooling swim is the image of paradise. These places definitely exist and here are some useful tips of how to find them and what to expect. Waterfalls are sharp drops along the course of a river. You will often have to hike up or down a river for a certain way to get to a waterfall, but the river provides a route for you to follow.

Tegallalang Rice Terraces in Ubud is famous for its beautiful scenes of rice paddies involving the subak (traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system). Tegallang has an
outlook that spreads down before you and away to the rice terraces on
the slopes across the valley. The high roadside location is cool and
breezy and it is a well-known spot for tourists to stop and take photos.
Painters and nature lovers also enjoy visiting this spot, and there are
numerous art kiosks and cafes near the ledge offering their ware.

Tirta Empul - Tampak Siring Temple
Tirta
Empul Temple or Tampak Siring Temple is a holy spring water temple located in
Tampak Siring Village, Gianyar regency and it is about 39 km eastwards from
Denpasar town. It is set in the dale and encircled by the hill. In the west
side of this temple, there is an Indonesian President palace which has been
found by the first president. The name of Tirta Empul is loaded in a
inscription which is kept at Sakenan Temple, Manukaya village, Sub district of
Tampak Siring, about 3 km from Tirta Empul Temple. In this inscription, the
Tirta Empul is named by the Tirta Ri Air Hampul and then the name has changed
into Tirta Hampul and finally become the Tirta Empul. Tirta Ri air hampul is
meaning the water emerge or the holy pool (Petirtan) which is the water emerge
from the land.

Monkey Forrest
The monkeys within the secred forrest of Padang Tegal are commonly long tiled macaques. Their scientific name is Macaca fascicuiaris. In Bali there are Balinese long tiled macaque troops (populations) that live in areas where they have litle to no contact with the humans and Troops that come in to contact with the humans on a reguler basis. On the western part of the forrest is Dalem temple dedicated of the Siwa God. In the eastern part is Cemetry and Prajapati temple dedicated of Durga god (wife of the Siwa God).
